Music City Accelerator is San Francisco’s home for ambitious music creators — a place where producers, DJs, vocalists, engineers, and artists develop real skills through hands-on training, professional mentorship, and live performance opportunities. Our programs are built for students who want to improve fast, break into the industry, and join a creative community that takes music seriously.
Inside the Starfactory campus, students get access to world-class studios, rehearsal spaces, recording rooms, and live stages where they can apply everything they learn in real time. Whether you’re building your first track in Ableton Live, learning signal flow, preparing a DJ set, recording vocals, or developing your artistic identity, the Accelerator gives you the tools and experience to grow with confidence.
Our curriculum blends technical training with guided creativity. From music production and mixing to DJing, vocal performance, beatmaking, and artist development, each program is designed to help creators build workflows, understand industry-standard tools, and achieve cleaner, more professional sound. Students learn how to think like producers, how to communicate with engineers, and how to make music that connects.
We believe education should happen where music actually lives. That’s why Accelerator students learn inside the world’s first Starfactory — a fully operational music campus featuring a broadcast network, live shows, state-of-the-art studios, and a collaborative community of working musicians. This environment gives students something traditional classrooms can’t: real-world experience and the confidence that comes from doing the work alongside peers, mentors, performers, and industry professionals.
