The San Francisco Music Hall of Fame (SFMHOF)
is comprised of three parts: The Gallery, the Brick Wall, and the Visionars.

Together they represent and showcase the rich musical history of San Francisco and the Bay Area artists that helped define many generations.

The Gallery

The Gallery, a collection of 90+ high-quality large-format photography prints, dominate the walls of the Music City Hotel hallways. Each print is accompanied by original written tributes by prominent national writers like Ben Fong-Torres [Rolling Stone Magazine], Emma Silvers [KQED], Joel Selvin [SF Chronicle], and more.

Brick Wall

At the entrance to our building, we have put together over 300 bricks of amazing acts, venues, and people that were associated with the SF music scene over the last 50 years.

We’re expanding the concept of the SFMHOF Gallery and installing multiple exhibits throughout Music City San Francisco. Every exhibit will hold memorabilia that continues to pay homage to the past musicians who paved the way for music in the Bay Area and the world!
