With each song, Middle Dog weaves together a tapestry of emotional lyrics, captivating melodies, and timeless grooves, offering a paw to all who wish to listen. Formed in 2022 by Evan Bachmann (guitar & vocals) and Paul Urrutia (drums & vocals), they aimed to form a band that was defined by their connection to the music, not by a singular genre. Since hitting the stage Middle Dog has played at some of the San Francisco’s most historic venues including The Savoy Tivoli, The Kilowatt, and The Golden Gate Park Bandshell. Following the release of their first EP, Mainland, in October 2024, Middle Dog has continued to write new music, refine their sound, and organically expand their fanbase.
Short Term Fun is a tongue-in-cheek, queer, vocal band focused on creating groovy music, uplifting our community, and having a ton of fun together. Our set will include songs by pop icons with a little funk/folk flare. We are inspired by many iconic femme harmonizers – think Trousdale, säje, Tiny Habits, Remi Wolf, and Reneé Rapp. After months of writing unique arrangements, rehearsing, coordinating, and finding a wonderful accompanying band, we are over-the-moon to share Short-Term Fun with all of you!
