BIRD STREETS
The classic-yet-modern indie-rock of Brooklyn artist Bird Streets (John Brodeur) has garnered attention from NPR Music, Paste, and PopMatters. Lagoon, their “luxurious and literate” second album, features guest appearances from Aimee Mann, Ed Harcourt, and members of Wilco and Big Star. The long-awaited follow-up, The Escape Artist, is out Oct. 10 on Plastic Dreams Records.This show will feature Brodeur performing as a duo with violinist/vocalist Gina Romantini (Jayhawks, Wallflowers).
