Join us in the basement of Music City SF in Studio 6 for Balanced Breakfast’s monthly artist-in-the-round event featuring drinks, bar food, and a mix of today’s hottest music performed by today’s best up-and-coming musicians. Performing artists have come from the Bay and afar for your viewing pleasure. Over the three-hour event, you will enjoy original music from 6 indie musicians and 1 band.

Jane Symmes is a singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist originally from New Hampshire currently living in San Francisco. With classical violin and bluegrass origins, Jane’s music spans the realm of indie folk with indie pop influences. Jane released her debut EP “Wouldn’t You Say” in December 2022 and this is her third time taking the Hotel Utah stage. Joining her on stage is Trevor Scheid (piano), Jeff Caruso (guitar), and her sister Adelaide Symmes (vocals).

ABOUT ARTIST IN THE ROUND “In The Round” is when a group of musicians take turns singing their songs. One artist sings a song and then the next sings and so on. Each performing artist will have the opportunity to do 3 songs. As there are always 3 artists on stage at the same time, sometimes others in the group will add some instrumental flavor and or harmonious vocals. Over the course of the evening, there will be 2 rounds and attendees will discover 6 solo artists each evening.

Balanced Breakfast is a multi-city meetup of musicians, industry professionals, and enthusiasts that was founded in San Francisco in 2013.
