Anoohya is a singer-songwriter based in the Bay Area, known for her catchy melodies and a distinctive sound that blends folk, alternative, and pop influences. Playing both piano and guitar, her music is shaped by a diverse array of inspirations, including Carole King, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, and Norah Jones. She began writing songs in 2020 amid the pandemic, finding an outlet for creative expression during a challenging time. Her work reflects her deep love for the non-linear, spontaneous nature of songwriting and its expression of lived experience, making her music both authentic and refreshingly original.
