Unwoman (Erica Mulkey) is a solo cellist-singer-songwriter based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her performances feature stand-up electric cello, powerfully dynamic vocals, and lush live looping. With hundreds of timeless original songs and classic covers, Unwoman has been a favorite act at major steampunk, goth, and sci-fi-related events all over North America.
Her song “The Heroine” was featured on Welcome to Night Vale and in the documentary Vintage Tomorrows. Unwoman has performed with Halou, Rasputina, Voltaire, Abney Park, and Vernian Process, among many others.
She has released 18 self-produced albums, run more than a dozen successful kickstarter campaigns, and produces new songs for her bandcamp subscribers each month.unwoman.com
