Gavin Bermudez
Gavin Bermudez is a singer-songwriter and performer originally from San Francisco, California, though since then he has gone on to play venues across New York City, diving headfirst into the music scene there. Playing by ear, Gavin is self-taught on piano, guitar, and harmonica. Some of his influences include the likes of Billy Joel, The Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie, and Coldplay. The result is a unique tone and style that blurs the lines of any one musical genre. He is currently working on a variety of projects, including an upcoming album and a full two-act musical. A student at NYU studying songwriting and contemporary music production, he released “Ghosts of the Top Bunk,” his first album of original music written, performed, and produced entirely by himself in 2023. Having performance experience in both music and theatre, Gavin has performed live on both coasts, both solo and with his band.
