She enjoys experimenting with a range of mediums from oil\, acrylic\, watercolor\, embroidery and sewing to ceramics\, up-cycling and graphic design. \nShe strongly believes in the power of education and has studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago\, earning her BA. in Illustration\, and received her Masters in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her interest in nature was the reason she attended the University of Illinois at Chicago for a BS. degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences. She received her Teaching Credential from San Francisco State University’s Graduate College of Education in Art. She plans on continuing her education in art with a focus on art therapy. Since the age of 5\, Richelle has developed an intricate relationship with the 88s\, and as the instrument of choice\, uses the piano to express her love for hip hop\, classical\, rock n roll\, blues\, and just down right jammin. \nRichelle has worked on many projects with various artists in Atlanta\, GA and Oakland\, CA–ranging from studio productions to live performances at small venues and festivals.
