She is a graduate of both the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Preparatory Division and also St. Ignatius College Preparatory High School. She has a degree in music from City College of San Francisco. \nWhile at St. Ignatius\, Stephanie was one of nine students selected to go on the St. Ignatius Kenya Music Exchange\, and was also the only student from San Francisco selected to attend the Recording Academy’s Grammy Camp. She also released her original big band song “Keep It Movin’\, worldwide\, and was the only student in the history of St. Ignatius to have an original composition performed by the jazz band. \nStephanie was also selected by the San Francisco Mayor’s Office to provide music for their documentary about the IPO program\, which assists formerly incarcerated young people in their reentry to society. \nIn February 2019 and February 2020\, Stephanie was selected by the UCSF Black Caucus to provide music for the annual Black Caucus Gala at the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco. \nRecently in December 2022\, Stephanie sung with the San Francisco Symphony at Davies Symphony Hall. \n\n\n\nWelcome to Music City SFWhere Music Comes Alive in the Heart of San FranciscoAt Music City SF\, we blend the vibrant spirit of San Francisco with a passion for live music and creativity. DESCRIPTION:Free Entry\n\n\nDanilo Paiz and Olga Vinnik’s Duo Universal lives up to its name. Singing in six different languages and playing a dozen different rhythms\, they have something in their repertoire to suit every musical taste. \nBackground: In his extensive musical career\, Danilo has performed\, recorded\, and toured with legends such as Celia Cruz (“The Queen of Salsa”)\, Mary Wilson of The Supremes\, Tito Puente (“The King of Timbal”)\, Carlos Santana\, and Ruben Blades (“The Poet of Salsa”)–to name just a few. His early work on percussion playing with Latin Jazz legend Ray Barretto is memorialized in the documentary film\, “Machito: A Latin Jazz Legacy\,” which is archived in the Library of Congress.With his phenomenal improvisational skills on guitar\, percussion\, and vocals\, Danilo makes every live show a unique experience.Olga started singing as a youngster in her parents’ band\, which played music in a variety of genres and languages. In the mid-90s\, she fell in love with Salsa music and joined Danilo’s Salsa orchestra as a singer. Soon thereafter\, an opportunity came up for Danilo to take a smaller version of his band to Singapore to do a three-month residency at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. She is a graduate of both the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Preparatory Division and also St. Ignatius College Preparatory High School. She has a degree in music from City College of San Francisco. \nWhile at St. Ignatius\, Stephanie was one of nine students selected to go on the St. Ignatius Kenya Music Exchange\, and was also the only student from San Francisco selected to attend the Recording Academy’s Grammy Camp. She also released her original big band song “Keep It Movin’\, worldwide\, and was the only student in the history of St. Ignatius to have an original composition performed by the jazz band. \nStephanie was also selected by the San Francisco Mayor’s Office to provide music for their documentary about the IPO program\, which assists formerly incarcerated young people in their reentry to society. \nIn February 2019 and February 2020\, Stephanie was selected by the UCSF Black Caucus to provide music for the annual Black Caucus Gala at the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco. \nRecently in December 2022\, Stephanie sung with the San Francisco Symphony at Davies Symphony Hall. \n\n\n\nWelcome to Music City SFWhere Music Comes Alive in the Heart of San FranciscoAt Music City SF\, we blend the vibrant spirit of San Francisco with a passion for live music and creativity. DESCRIPTION:Free Entry\n\n\nDanilo Paiz and Olga Vinnik’s Duo Universal lives up to its name. Singing in six different languages and playing a dozen different rhythms\, they have something in their repertoire to suit every musical taste. \nBackground: In his extensive musical career\, Danilo has performed\, recorded\, and toured with legends such as Celia Cruz (“The Queen of Salsa”)\, Mary Wilson of The Supremes\, Tito Puente (“The King of Timbal”)\, Carlos Santana\, and Ruben Blades (“The Poet of Salsa”)–to name just a few. His early work on percussion playing with Latin Jazz legend Ray Barretto is memorialized in the documentary film\, “Machito: A Latin Jazz Legacy\,” which is archived in the Library of Congress.With his phenomenal improvisational skills on guitar\, percussion\, and vocals\, Danilo makes every live show a unique experience.Olga started singing as a youngster in her parents’ band\, which played music in a variety of genres and languages. In the mid-90s\, she fell in love with Salsa music and joined Danilo’s Salsa orchestra as a singer. Soon thereafter\, an opportunity came up for Danilo to take a smaller version of his band to Singapore to do a three-month residency at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
