Fronted by bassist and vocalist Kelly Ogden and guitarist Luis Cabezas\, this power duo has built a legacy of anthemic tunes\, relentless touring\, and an unwavering DIY ethos. But what sets them apart isn’t just their music—it’s their ability to balance the chaos of punk rock with raising kids that are now old enough to take the stage on their own. \n \nThe band has released eight studio albums and played over two thousand shows since their 2004 debut on legendary punk label Lookout! Records. The next two albums came out through Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records\, followed by several DIY\, fan-funded releases and a current alliance with Wicket Cool Records. Long a staple in rotation on Sirius/XM’s Little Steven’s Underground Garage\, the band’s consistent output perked up the ears of Wicked Cool founder Stevie Van Zandt. “Their songwriting has reached a consistent level of greatness\,” he says. \n \nThe Dollyrots’ sound stays rooted in the sharp hooks of classic pop punk. Growing up together in Florida\, followed by a decade-long stint in Los Angeles\, the band emerged from the L.A. punk scene with a style that blends humor\, heart\, and high-energy. Their anthem “Because I’m Awesome” has enjoyed over 2.6 million streams on Spotify while becoming a rallying cry for sarcastic self-confidence. Whether they’re singing about awkward crushes or the everyday chaos of life\, their songs always deliver a sense of fun and relatability\, reminding listeners not to take life—or themselves—too seriously. \n \nThe band is no stranger to success\, hitting the Billboard Heatseekers and Independent Albums charts several times and featured in movies and TV shows including “Nimona”\, “Billions”\, “The Price Is Right” along with classics such as “Easy A” and “CSI:NY”. Their most recent album\, Night Owls\, is co-Produced by longtime collaborator John Fields (Jimmy Eat World\, All Time Low\, Meet Me At the Altar) and features multiple tracks receiving heavy rotation on Sirius/XM and featured on NPRs New Music Friday and Spotify’s New In Punk Playlists\, along with many more. \n \nKelly and Luis aren’t just bandmates; they’re life partners who’ve taken their shared love of music and turned it into a family affair. Their two kids\, River and Daisy\, have grown up on the road\, trading playgrounds for green rooms and bedtime stories for soundchecks. Instead of seeing family life as a limitation\, Kelly and Luis have woven it into the fabric of their music and lifestyle. Their kids often make mid-show cameos on stage and can sometimes be spotted at the merch table helping fans pick out t-shirts\, or popping up in behind-the-scenes tour videos. The family vibe is infectious\, making Dollyrots shows feel less like a concert and more like a reunion with your fun\, rock n roll cousins. \n \nThis unconventional lifestyle has added a unique layer to The Dollyrots’ identity. They’ve become a symbol of what it means to balance ambition and creativity with family life. Their fans—many of whom are now parents themselves—find inspiration in how Kelly and Luis have stayed true to their punk roots while embracing parenthood with open arms. \n \nThe band’s influence has also extended to the radio\, where Kelly has held down the position of morning show DJ since 2019 on Sirius/XM Channel 21 The Underground Garage. The Kelly Ogden Program plays the best of garage\, punk\, and rock\, airing every weekday morning with a bonus Friday night show. She can also be heard on their sister station Sirius 721\, and shares a side project with Bowling For Soup frontman Jaret Reddick called Jaret and Kelly. \n \nAlways active on the live circuit\, the band is gearing up for extensive 2025 tour plans including both U.S. and overseas runs. Baya Michaelson (Born: Michael E. Clay)\, was raised and schooled in the Big Sur/Monterey area. Michael started playing Suzuki Violin at age 2. By 4 he was playing the Piano in classical fashion and at the age of 9 had developed into an Alto Saxophone player. \nBy the age of 14 Michael had performed in Jazz clubs with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie\, Bob Soder and Clyde Stubblefield. Though not keen on Jazz\, in 1987 Michael quit the Saxophone and turned to computers as a viable option for creating new musics. This is when the persona of Baya was manifested. \nToday\, Baya is known as the first musical cyborg; Utilizing cybernetic finger prosthetics\, allowing for electronic device control and DATA storage / transfer. \nFun Fact: In 2015 Baya was in an Explosion resulting in multiple amputations and reconstructions. DESCRIPTION:San Francisco based Singer/ Songwriter\n\n\nASHTON YORK \nAshton York is a San Francisco based singer- songwriter. His debut album titled “You Are My Sanity”\, was released in February 2018. Primarily recorded in the Hyde St. building in SF\, it’s raw production and minimalistic approach adds to the heart of each song while providing the listener with an honest and relatable experience. \nOver the course of 2018\, Ashton was able to build a decent listener base online\, with “Beach Song” garnering nearly 200\,000 organic plays on Spotify\, as well as over 1.5 million hits on YouTube via Alex Rainbird’s Winter Compilation. His music has since been met with encouraging reviews on indie music publications\, and a growing dedicated fanbase. \nIn March 2019\, Ashton released a live-tracked and intimate acoustic EP titled “Ellwood”\, followed by 2021’s 4-track project “Nine-Ninety”. York spent a year in Long Beach writing and demo-ing his next full length project\, “Nightmare In Your Arms”\, which was released November of 2022. The single Awful Time was premiered ahead of the record by Atwood Magazine and featured an impressive supporting cast including Abby Gundersen and Kyle Crane.  \nYork is currently working on his third full length studio album titled Loved and Lost and utilizing a release method commonly referred to as a waterfall release strategy. DESCRIPTION:Experience three unstoppable metal bands\n\n\n\nRail Rage \nRail Rage\, thrash metal from Petaluma since 2020. \n \n\n\n\nVexxum \nBased in West Covina\, Vexxum traces its beginnings to 2010 when 13-year-old drummer Matt Anderson jammed with school friends in a garage. After years of hiatuses and attempts at a new start\, the band reformed in 2017 and developed an arsenal of core songs with which they set out to conquer the LA metal scene. Over the next handful of years\, Vexxum perfected its craft and built its following in the underground—not stopping for anyone or anything\, including tumultuous lineup changes and Covid shutdowns. By the time public venues reopened\, the band found itself stepping up to the Viper Room\, Whisky A Go-Go\, and equivalent clubs—advancing far into the Wacken Metal Battle and opening for bigger artists (i.e. Warbringer\, Midnight\, Crypta\, etc.) The Vexxum discography includes 2 EPs\, a standalone single\, and a full-length record. The band embarked on their first tour in October 2024\, spanning the western half of the United States. \n \n\n\n\nVesseles \nVESSELES (veh-sel-is) is a ritual in sound — the sonic embodiment of Valira\, a demon composer reclaiming her identity through haunting orchestrations\, serrated riffs\, and searing vocals. Drawing power from The Beneath\, a dominion forged by demons beneath the human world\, VESSELES conjures music as invocation: a reckoning with identity\, rage\, and transformation. Formed in 2023\, the band channels a raw\, ritualistic energy that blurs the line between performance and possession. With the debut EP I Am A Demon (2024)\, Valira shares her journey from exile to embodiment — a path carved in defiance of silence\, shaped by the fire of self-discovery. Sometimes compared to the legends of the 70s blues rock scene\, Sean and the Skinwalkers does cover a wide range of music in addition to playing originals. Her music blends ethereal synths\, catchy electronic beats\, and emotionally charged lyrics\, creating a sound that feels both timeless and futuristic. Drawing from her personal experiences as a Latina woman and her deep connection to her cultural heritage\, Bravo’s work explores themes of love\, dark beauty\, empowerment\, and the complexities of belonging. \n \n\n\n\nPleeay \nPLEEAY is a trio of gutter pop musicians (2 queers and 1 unrelenting ally) who double-dare people to resist conformity\, choose consciousness over convenience\, and live loudly with compassion.
