DESCRIPTION:Sparkle Plenty performs live at Music City Starfactory!\n\n\nSparkle Plenty performs live at Music City Starfactory in Venue 6 \nSan Francisco rock band Sparkle Plenty has been “On the Run” since 2018 when guitarist Johan and bassist Doug recorded a demo of a song of the same name in Doug’s kitchen. The two had met a year earlier playing together in a different San Francisco Bay Area band and they quickly discovered that their record collections are virtually identical and that both favor bud light over the more trendy beer offerings of the day. Based on these two things they knew that a band had to be formed. The only missing link was the right drummer. Fortunately Justin was referred by a mutual friend in late 2018 and the power trio was ready to rock! \nSparkle Plenty’s music is firmly rooted in ROCK with definite nods to and reverence for punk and garage rock influences. The band’s first full length record entitled “On The Run” was released in late 2021 and followed up in 2023 by a second full length release called “I Was Here”. Sparkle Plenty is currently busy playing gigs and working hard to get its music out to the world at large.
